    Rides, Clubs & Group Events

Off-roading in Lake Havasu isn’t just about the trails; it’s about the people you meet and the adventures you share. Whether you’re looking to join an organized ride, give back through a clean-up run, or find your crew for a weekend cruise, this tab covers everything you need to get connected.

    1. Local Clubs & How to Join

    2. Weekly & Monthly Group Rides

Havasu 4 Wheelers hosts regular trail rides from October through April, often categorized by difficulty level and terrain. Members receive a monthly ride calendar.

UTV Havasu holds casual weekly rides, often announced in their Facebook group. Many are beginner-friendly and include fun stops, such as bars or lookout points.

Pro Tip: Rides often fill up fast. RSVP early through club platforms and always read the ride details (meeting time, fuel range, gear required).

    3. Charity Runs & Cleanup Events

Giving back is part of the off-road culture in Havasu. Both clubs host and participate in events such as:
Annual Desert Cleanups – Volunteers help remove trash from popular trails.
Charity Poker Runs – Trail-based fundraising events with prizes, raffles, and post-ride hangouts.
Toys for Tots Rides – Held during the holidays, often combining scenic rides with gift drives.
Holiday Light Parade Ride – Off-road vehicles are decked out in holiday lights and decorations to visit local elder care facilities and spread cheer. It’s a community favorite and an unforgettable way to give back.

These events are often open to the public and are announced via Facebook or the club’s newsletters.

    4. Seasonal Festivals & Competitions

Desert Bash (Yuma, AZ) – Held in December, this is one of the largest OHV events in the region. Raffles, vendor expos, and group rides included.

King of the Hammers (Johnson Valley, CA) – Not in Havasu, but close enough to draw a crowd. A weeklong rock-crawling race spectacle is held every February.

Local Off-Road Swap Meets & Night Rides – Follow local groups for pop-up events, often held in the cooler months.

Whether you’re new in town or a seasoned trail vet, joining a group opens the door to more adventure, better knowledge, and deeper community. The trails are calling, and now you know who’s riding them.
