Island Trail Access & Local Art

The Island Trail doesn’t just offer lake views; it celebrates Havasu’s story. The trail loops nearly 4 miles around the island and is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking with mountain and water views. Along the path, you’ll also find two metal sculptures created by local and visiting artists that capture what makes this city unique.

The first is a metal jet ski monument, built in collaboration with Pro Watercraft Racing to honor Lake Havasu’s legacy as the ‘PWC Capital of the World’ and home to the IJSBA World Finals. It stands as a tribute to the riders and families who have made Havasu a global hub for personal watercraft racing.

The second is a metal replica of the London Bridge, designed by artist Steve Glacken, who donated it to Lake Havasu City in collaboration with the Parks and Recreation Department. The installation was supported by the Lake Havasu Association of REALTORS and the Keep Havasu Beautiful Committee and now sits along the ‘Island Trail Nature Stop.’ It’s a symbol of community pride and creativity, and a great photo stop.
