Launch & Marinas – Lake Havasu

In Lake Havasu, the only thing easier than finding the lake is launching into it. With multiple public boat ramps and full-service marinas, hitting the water here is simple, even on a busy weekend. Whether you’re a local, a snowbird, or just visiting, there’s a launch spot and marina to match your pace.

    Public Launch Ramps

Windsor Beach Boat Launch (Lake Havasu State Park)

Address: 699 London Bridge Rd, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

    Map: View on Google Maps

This is the largest and most popular launch in town. It features wide lanes, paved parking, restrooms, and easy access to boating hotspots, such as the Bridgewater Channel. Day-use passes and annual permits are available through Arizona State Parks.

Wendy’s Tip: Arrive early during holiday weekends. This place fills up fast, and the line of trailers can stretch longer than the London Bridge.

Site Six Launch Ramp (On the Island)

Address: 611 Beachcomber Blvd, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

    Map: View on Google Maps

Recently resurfaced and looking good, but still legendary. This free, no-hassle ramp is great for smaller boats and fishing trips, especially on weekdays. But word to the wise: watch your footing (and your truck tires). This spot has a reputation for claiming vehicles that back in too far. If you’re new to launching, bring a buddy and leave the heroics at home.

Wendy’s Tip: If you’re launching at Site Six, keep your boat floating, not your back tires. It’s free for a reason.

Havasu Riviera Launch (Inside Havasu Riviera Community)

Address: 2067 Havasu Riviera Pkwy, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406

    Map: View on Google Maps

A sleek, modern launch is in the upscale Riviera development. It’s peaceful and less congested, with quick access to the scenic south end of the lake. Daily launch rates vary, and an annual Riviera Pass is available.

Contact Point Launch Area (Near Havasu Springs)

Address: 6699 Highway 95 S, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406

    Map: View on Google Maps

Tucked just south of town, this quiet ramp is ideal for anglers and southern lake adventurers. Less traffic, fewer trailers, and a laid-back launch experience.
